New Settings Menu

In Moøkan we keep working to improve our client's experience and their feedback is the base for our system upgrade. According to this feedback, we have improved our base options and configuration menu, in order to add new functionalities and make it more easy and intuitive to use for any user. 

Our Simulations aren't just a walkthrough App. Our menu gives options to choose different spaces or configure the settings to optimize the simulation to your computer and generate a fluid simulation. 

The new menu add a Audio Slider that control the output volume for our App, separately of the general computer audio to offer a direct control and allow it keep other audio while the App is running. 

We also added a new Mouse Inverse switcher to alternate in to different modes of navigation with the mouse. Now our user experience can be adapted to our users according their previous experience making it more intuitive to move inside the 3D simulation. The standard Mouse control allows to move the mouse to the right to look to the right like immersive simulations, the inverse mode allows to pan the view, like in spherical views or Google maps

In order to make the graphic settings easier to use we have replaced the old menu for a new general controller, Graphic Quality, that manage all the options at once with a few standard settings that scale the quality to your computer graphic processor. Also for advance users we keep the option to activate the advanced graphic settings in order to fit and maximize the performance in their computers.

In Moøkan we have joined the Snaptank, this 3D scan community, to commercialize our photogrammetry models in a high quality version for professional use. We took the decision after being asked by some users about the original or more detailed version of the models we freely share in Sketchfab.

Moøkan en Snaptank

En Moøkan nos hemos unido a Snaptank, la comunidad de escaneado 3D, para comercializar nuestros modelos de fotogrametría en la versión de alta calidad para uso profesional. Hemos tomado esta decisión después de que varios usuarios nos preguntaran por el modelo original o más detallado de los modelos que compartimos gratuitamente en Sketchfab.

Esperamos que estos modelos de alta definición os sean útiles y estaremos encantados de escuchar vuestros comentarios.

Real Time Render is a great tool that allow us to live experiences in a much more natural way, giving us the freedom to interact with the environment, to move freely and to pay attention to the things that interest us.

This doesn't mean at any point that other directed and closed methods as the cinema are loosing its value. Cinema allow us to transmit in a very direct way and the viewer only needs to pay attention to what we want to communicate. Right now in Moøkan we are recording video footage of our projects to offer both communication options.

Through this new step we finally integrate one of the features key to choose Unreal Engine 4 as our main tool; the capability to produce video footage from the scenes we have created on it. It has a really high speed rendering that allows us to create a video from one of our projects with a very low cost of computing time.

Actualización de videos: Oficina Virtual

El render en tiempo real es una gran herramienta que nos permite vivir experiencias de una forma mucho más natural, dándonos la libertad para interactuar con el entorno, movernos libremente y poner nuestra atención en aquello que nos interesa.

Pero no por ello métodos dirigidos y cerrados como el cine pierden su valor. El cine permite transmitir de una manera más directa y donde el espectador solo requiere prestar su atención para poder comunicarle algo. Ahora en Moøkan estamos desarrollando secuencias de video de nuestros proyectos para poder ofrecer las dos opciones de comunicación.

Con este nuevo paso integramos al fin uno de los aspectos por el cual elegimos Unreal Engine 4 como nuestra herramienta principal; la capacidad de producir secuencias de vídeo de las escenas creadas en el. Cuenta con una alta velocidad de renderizado que nos permite crear vídeos de nuestros proyectos con un coste de computación muy bajo.
